![]() ![]() Updating doesn't do anything to resolve the situation as there is no update yet to fix the current Flash vulnerabilities. There is no patch yet from Adobe for the Flash version used by Firefox on Linux. Uust check what's offered for updates and if there's one you want to remain as is, then to be sure you can also block it so you don't accidentally allow it later. You use the program name for that exactly as reflected in what's offered, so might have firefox but also locale-firefox-en. Anything you don't want changed till ready to do it, put in there. I also go to the Ignored Updates tab and put in some things I don't want updated, like Firefox, Thunderbird, and a biggee is Libre Office. ![]() Open the Updater and go into Edit>Preferences>Levels and set to allow levels 1 & 2 updates to install and just have 3 show what it offers. But restarting firefox yields no improvement. I then ran the adobe-flash update one and it said it installed it all fine.
